AN INVITATION TO COLLABORATE From the very beninning teatro GLIMT has had an international stance. We are always interested in opportunites for touring with our performances. We are also on the outook for international partners, who are interested in exchanging ideas and exploring new ways of expressing themes and stories through physical means. Experimenting with methods and artistic expressions is a consequence of teatro GLIMT's focus on the story. We have worked with flamenco dancers, butoh performers, actors, visual artists, singers and musicians among others. We’ve even been talking with some young designers who want to integrate knitting into one of our performances!
We are pleased to introduce you to our tour repertory: "Two Faces" A combination of modern dance, theatre and artistry. For girls the performance is about the confusing period, when the child and the adult merge. And for boys it is a secret glimpse into the bizarre and wonderful world of girls. "Sisyphus Ascending" A poetic, sharp and funny interpretation of the Greek myth about Sisyphus, who is doomed to roll a rock up a mountain forever, only to see it roll back again, so he can start all over again. Here it is portrayed through a visually and physically strong piece of modern circus. Read more about "Sisyphus Ascending"
Thematic Cabaret Concept Take 6 widely different performers, 1 director, 1 theme, 1 stage and mix in 5 rehearsal days, and you have the recipy for a completely unusual and extraordinary cabaret that contains everything from acrobatics, dance, music, stand-up, mime, flamenco and pure humour. We would be pleased to create a cabaret in collaboration with local, national and/or regional artists! Read more about "A GLINT of a Cabaret"
